Procedure
After the tooth is profoundly numbed, the decayed area of your tooth will be gently removed and then replaced with filling material. Dr. Hendrix always takes care to remove the minimal amount of tooth structure possible, conservatively removing all of the decay while leaving all possible healthy tooth structure. After the filling is placed a bright ultraviolet light is used to cure it. The filling will then be polished and checked for proper occlusion (fit between the upper and lower teeth).
